A young woman must cope with physical and mental effects after surviving unimaginable events
involving a “slasher killer”; and her trials and tribulations are exacerbated when a film crew comes to
town to recreate the events of that horrific night.

SYNOPSIS

Hailey, a survivor of a night of brutal murder and terror, tries to get her life back in order. Her friends are
dead, her small town is frightened of her. Supported by her father, Glen, a former boxer, she works at
his gym. Her own boxing experience is what kept her alive. But the nerve damage and torn musculature
from her encounter with the killer have ruined her once burgeoning boxing career. She also suffers PTSD
from the ordeal – flashbacks, paranoia, and fear of the dark and enclosed places manifest themselves.
Hailey’s close friend Lynn, a tattoo artist, works to cover physical scars with beautiful images and
emotional ones with compassion and affection. It has been nearly two years since the farmhouse
murders, and Hailey gets a message from Nick, another survivor who left town right after. She then
learns that a film crew has come to town to make an “authentic recreation” of the events. Hailey is
going to have to face her nightmares, whether she wants to or not.
